Ben worked as interim CIO for a couple of months at the DB Mindbox in Berlin together with Florian Küster and Matthias Buchhorn on a prototype for an intermodal freight platform. The prototype consisted of a mobile Android app that gathered informations from Bluetooth beacons meant to be installed on containers or transports. All information was gathered and tracked in a NoSQL database hosted on Amazon’s AWS and presented in a web based dashboard. Have a look at the dashboard at http://www.freightcloud.eu/.
